FLHF Scholarship Activities

Who We Are
The Flying Leatherneck Historical Foundation (FLHF) Scholarship Committee is an integral part of the Historical Foundation. The FLHF Scholarship Program is committed to assisting local high school seniors with financial aid to help them continue pursuit of their educational goals.

What We Do
The Scholarship Committee raises funds, administers the Scholarship Program, publicizes scholarship opportunities and coordinates its activities with the California ‘Dollars-for-Scholars’ organization. Administrative expenses are paid from the foundation “General Fund.”

How We Do It
The Committee raises funds through advertising and mailings, provides scholarship applications to local high school JROTC units and, in coordination with the California Dollars-for-Scholars organization, manages the scholarship selection process.
High School seniors who are members in good standing of a San Diego County JROTC unit and have demonstrate above average academic standings may apply for a scholarship from the FLHF.Please click on the below items for further information.
