Recent Scholarship Winners

Each of the students pictured here have been awarded a scholarship by the Flying Leatherneck Historical Foundation. The scholarship checks were presented at the Annual Meeting.

Tiffany To – GPA – 4.0.
She has been very active in her NJROTC unarmed drill team unit for four years and is a member of the California Scholarship Federation. She also participates in the ACE mentoring program which guides students in their future chosen fields of endeavor – in this case, engineering. Tiffany will attend UC Irvine.

Philip Espe – GPA – 4.0.
Four years of NJROTC, awarded the distinguished cadet award. His senior Naval Science instructor wrote a glowing recommendation for Philip, predicting that he will be named the senior class valedictorian this year. Philip will attend DePaul University

David Foy – GPA – 3.53.
A four year NJROTC student, he is the recipient of numerous NJROTC awards in his four year HS tenure. He has been highly recommended in personal letters from both his principal and senior naval science Instructor. He wishes to pursue a military career and will major in aeronautical engineering or languages. David will attend The University of Washington.
