The Flying Leatherneck Historical Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable foundation (Tax ID # 33-0345440) that supports the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum. The Foundation is 100% funded by the generous donors, members and sponsors who respond to our appeals.
The Foundation preserves and shares the legacy of Marine aviation by restoring aircraft, documenting the stories of Marine aviators, providing school programs and more. We are continuing to offer our programs while working to re-establish the museum at Great Park in Irvine, CA. Once the museum is open in Irvine we will be looking for volunteers to give tours, preserve aircraft, visit classes and provide administrative support.
Information about programs for the general public as well as active duty and retired military is below. For more information about school programs including the annual essay and art contests, please go to the Education pages.
