Accessing the Research Center :
The Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum is proud to host scholarly researchers at its Research Center . The Research Center consists of more than 1,000 books, thousands of photographs, and additional materials related to Marine Corps aviation and its history.
The USMC Aviation Research Center at the Flying Leatherneck Museum does not lend out materials. It is available to the public by appointment. Please call the museum’s archivist, Linda Apodaca, at 858-577-4026 to make an appointment to visit the Research Center.

The staff of the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum has in-depth knowledge of USMC aviation history and an extensive network of sources. We are happy to assist with inquiries and will do our best to answer your questions as our duties allow.
