USMC Aviation History Library and Research Assistance
Accessing the Library:
Library is being renovated and is temporarily closed to visitors. Staff will continue to respond to research inquiries.
The Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum is proud to host scholarly researchers at its Research Library. The Research Library consists of more than 1,500 books, thousands of photographs, and additional materials related to Marine Corps aviation and its history.
The USMC Aviation Research Library at the Flying Leatherneck Museum is a non-lending library usually available to the public by appointment. It is temporarily closed for renovation but staff will continue to respond to research inquiries.
Submitting a Research Request:
The staff of the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum has in-depth knowledge of USMC aviation history and an extensive network of sources. We are happy to assist with inquiries and will do our best to answer your questions as our duties allow.
