Nominations are open through March 19, 2021 for the annual Irene Ferguson Marine Wife Recognition Award. The award was founded by WWII pilot Major Glenn Ferguson (USMC retired) in memory of his beloved wife. It honors and highlights the resiliency, strength, and dedication that United States Marine Corps wives embody as they support our military men and women, families and communities.
In today’s podcast Traci Wilson (pictured with her husband), the 2018 awardee and chairwoman of the all-female committee that chooses the awardee, is interviewed. Friends and family members are urged to submit a name for consideration. Click here for the online nomination form, rules and information about the award.
