In this special volunteer profile episode, we congratulate Justin Whitney; today, June 11, 2021, as we celebrate his graduation from high school and express our profound thanks for the tremendous support he has provided the Foundation.

Justin is the founder of the Foundation’s “The Inside Loop” video series where kids of all ages can get their questions answered by our experts.

With a shoestring budget, Justin became the host, production coordinator, video editor, and historical researcher of “The Inside Loop”, his first multimedia endeavor.

He taught himself how to use the proper video editing software, designed a recognizable and aesthetically pleasing theme, scoured thousands of royalty-free music tracks, and studied the National Archives for photos and video clips to incorporate into his segments. With the help of a few experienced friends and hours of hard work, he persevered and created a show he could proudly call his own.

When Justin is not researching, preparing, or hosting “The Inside Loop”, he is an accomplished senior with a 4.0 GPA at Canyon Crest Academy in San Diego. He has served in the Model United Nations Club and competed on the track team in the Triple Jump, Long Jump, 200m sprint, and 4 by 100 relay. Justin holds the school record for the Triple Jump.

Recruited by Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, this fall he will be pursuing a degree in Government and Legal Studies.
