Colonel Jack W. Rippy (USMC, Retired): 

After completing Undergraduate School and Law School, and being admitted to the Oklahoma Bar, Jack Rippy entered the Marine Corps and completed Officer Candidacy School, The Basic School, and Naval Justice School, was designated a Trial and Defense Counsel in the Judge Advocate General Specialty and was posted to Marine Corps Air Station El Toro. Soon thereafter, he attended Flight School, transitioning to the A6 Intruder and served in combat in the Republic of Viet Nam. Afterward, he again served a short tour with the Joint Law Center at El Toro, however his career developed primarily as an Attack Pilot, including command of Marine All Weather Attack Squadron 121. Colonel Rippy also attended Amphibious Warfare School, Air Force Command and Staff College, the Naval War College and the Defense Attache College. He served further tours in the Western Pacific, Germany, and Morocco, the latter as the Defense Attache with the United States Embassy in Rabat.

 After his retirement from the Marine Corps, he was admitted to the California Bar and has been in practice there since 1994.
