Historic Aircraft Arrival at Great Park Irvine

We are thrilled to announce the successful relocation of several historic aircraft to our new space.
The Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum is thrilled to announce the successful relocation of several historic aircraft from MCAS Miramar to their new home at the Great Park Irvine, formerly known as MCAS El Toro. This relocation marks a significant milestone in the museum's ongoing mission to preserve and honor the legacy of Marine Corps aviation.
The following aircraft will be safely transported on the specified dates:
F2H Banshee - August 26th, 2024
F4D Skyray - August 27th, 2024
F3D-2 Skyknight - August 28th, 2024
DC-3 (C-117) - August 29th, 2024
Each aircraft holds a unique place in aviation history, representing pivotal advancements in military technology and the brave service of Marine Corps aviators throughout the decades.

Aguilar, USMC Ret., CEO of the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum.
